After reading this guide, you will know who are spammers, why do they spam, different kinds of spamming and how to prevent them spamming your site ^^ Enjoy! Who Are Spammers? Spammers are everywhere on the net. What do spammers do? Most spammers go to sites and type a word for 4,000 times just to annoy and spam. Some advertise continuesly so that people can visit their site. Others, however, spam using other people's names. Read below to know the different types of spamming. Different Types Of Spamming Here are some of the types of spamming: Word Spamming = This type of spam means that the spammer will post a word continuesly for 4,000 times or even more! Name Spamming = Probably the worst type of spamming, the spammer uses other people's names and writes bad things about their friends! Advertising Spamming = The Spammer Advertises his or her site over 60 times! Cutenews (etc. news) Spamming = The spammer spams in cutenews (or any other news program you use) really annoying Other Types Of Spamming = There are many more types of spamming out there! Why Do Spammers Spam? No one really knows the answer of that (maybe the spammers do). People are convinced that spammers spam to make other people feel sad and miserable. Why? No one knows. Maybe the spammers are the annoying type and want to annoy other people online. How To Avoid Spammers Someone spammed your site or another site? Want to prevent this to happen? Then read the guides for the types of spamming and how to avoid them! Cutenews Spamming First of all, login to your cutenews account Next, go edit news (you must be an administrator to do that) Click the news where the spammer spammed Scroll down. You will see the comments made by the spammer. Do not delete them yet, read below! Click on the spammer's name and a box will pop up. You will see IP. Beside that, you will see a number. Next to it, ban IP. Click that. Now the spammer cannot comment anymore ^^ You can delete all of his messages now ^^ Cbox Spamming First of all, login to your Cbox account Go to the messages Scroll to the spammer's message. There, you will see some numbers, that is the IP address Edit copy this code and then go to the Blocked Users Page There, scroll down and you will see Add custom ban Paste the code you copied, write the duration you want the spammer to be banned in and the reason Click add and your done ^^ No more spammer! Forum Spamming Login to your forum Click on the spammer's name and it will lead you to their profile Click ban and your done (You have to be an administrator to do that) No more spammer ^^ Spamming on other sites First of all, login to your e-mail Next, write a new e-mail to the site that the spammer spammed in using your name In the message, tell them someone is using your name Give the webmaster or webmistress the spammer's IP address if you have it Hopefully, that site will ban the spammer too ^^ Thanks for reading ^^ If you need any help, don't hesitate to E-mail me ^^ I will reply!
