Pokemon Ranch is a Pokemon game available on WiiWare (more information below). It's basically you playing with a group of Pokemon you have sent from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. More information below.

Game Console

If you are not aware of Wiiware, maybe I can help introduce you! Wiiware is a couple of games available on your Wii's Wii Shop Channel. You can play special games that are not sold in stores or just play some old favorite games on wii! However, you cannot buy Wii ware games in any shop. You have to buy it using your Wii. How? By Wii Points. Everyone has wii points in their wii console. After visitng the official Wiiware website, you can connect your Wii to the internet and buy the games using your wiiware. Then, a new channel will appear in your Wii's menu and you can play the game anytime without a CD. To connect to the internet, simply use the Broadband Wire line or Wireless internet.

Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and The Ranch

Most of you might know and remember Pokemon Box for Ruby and Sapphire. It's basically transferring your Pokemon using a wire from your Gameboy SP or Advance to your Gamecube. However, that didn't have a lot of special features. In Pokemon Ranch, you can transfer your Pokemon to your Wii uisng Wireless Connection! Later, you can organize your Pokemon in the Ranch. Read below for more information. The maximum number of Pokemon in the Ranch is 1,000 Pokemon.

Pokemon Changing

All the Pokemon that you put from your Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games transform to chibi form! (look at the end of the page for pictures).

Hayley

Hayley is a Mii and is best friends with Bebe, the developer of the Pokemon Storage System in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Hayley owns the Pokemon Ranch. She is quite popular with the Pokemon over there!

No Diamond and Pearl

So, you want the game but you don't own Pokemon Diamond and Pearl? Who says you need that! Hayley arrives everyday with a special Pokemon for you! Watch your Pokemon Ranch grow and add more from your Pokemon Diamond and Pearl if you have one of the two games.

Pokemon Wanted From Hayley

Sometimes, Hayley will want a special Pokemon on the farm. Most of the time, the Pokemon she requests you will not have it in your Pokemon Diamond and Pearl game. So, she wants you to catch the Pokemon in DP and then send it to your Wii to complete the quest. That helps you get more of the Pokemon from the National Dex!

Trading with Hayley

Sometimes, Hayley would like to have the special Pokemon she requested (look up for more information). You can trade her the Pokemon and she will give you another Pokemon! You can transfer the Pokemon she gave you to your Pokemon Diamond and Pearl games! The Pokemon she gives you usually has a great increase in attacks and is at a higher level.

Pokemon Playing

You can watch your Pokemon play in the ranch in Chibi form! Sometimes, the Pokemon might stand on each other to form a tall Pole. Other times, they might even make a parade, dance and even march with each other!

Your Mii and Pokemon

Of course, you can let your Mii explore the Pokemon Ranch. Every Mii has a special reaction to different types of Pokemon. Th more your Mii visits the Ranch and plays with the Pokemon, the more he or she gets popular with the Pokemon.

The Toy Box

The Toy Box contains lots of games for your Mii and Pokemon to play with. There are a lot of games to chose from!

Taking Pictures

You can take pictures of your Pokemon on the Ranch. If you spot a Pokemon doing something cute, funny, unusual, or anything you like, you can take a picture of that Pokemon and save it to your wii. Later, you can show them to the world using the Wii message board. People can comment on the picture or even post their pictures with yours to compare!
