.:. Make A Website .:. So, you have decided to make a website? That's really awesome <3 Now follow this guide to make your site awesome ^-^ The Name Don't think the name is easy. You can't just think of a name and that's it, that's your site name. My advice is to get other people's opinions. Next, write your own opinions on a sheet of paper. Asking friends and family might give you a great idea on a name. Don't rush, take your time ^^ The Host Of course, you can't get a site without a host! I recommend you try a free host for your first attempt at making a site. If you liked it, then you can buy a domain .com or any other domains. You can also get free hosting from great pokemon sites like EHQ, Hoohsfire and Pokeshore ^^ I recommend starting with piczo or freewebs since they are good and free. To find more hosts, go to the hosts page on the left nav <3 The Layout Of course, before the content you need a layout. A layout is almost the most important part of your site! People are attracted to sites that have very neat and awesome layouts ^^ Pokeshore is having a coming soon page for how to make layouts. You can wait for it to come out <3 The FTP If you are not using freewebs or piczo or any other similar hosting, you will need an ftp server. Go to the left nav and view ftp servers page under webmasters to find out some of the most used ftp servers on the net ^-^ The Content The content is what makes up the site. Make a unique content that almost not all sites have. You can have contests to attract more people. Remember, having a site is not for you to be popular, it's for you to have fun and make new friends <3 Other Things You might want to install other things to your site. Most sites use cutenews, view the cutenews guide to install it and start posting news 8D Also, you might want to add a forum and an oekaki, they are very popular <3 A shoutbox is a really important part to your site, it allows you to contact people and chat.
